It does not host government records and has no affiliation with New Milford offices, Litchfield County, the state, a court, a library, or another records custodian.

2. Permitted and Prohibited Use

Use the pages only for lawful purposes. You may not use the reference or information reached through it to:

  • Interfere with the service, its security, or its operation.

3. No Consumer Report

This is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Neither the material here nor a result from a linked search tool is a consumer report. Nothing may be used to judge eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another purpose regulated by the FCRA.

4. Other Websites

Government portals, libraries, courts, vendors, and sponsored search providers maintain their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control their content, availability, prices, security, or data handling.

5. No Promise of Accuracy

The reference is offered “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranty that a statement is complete, accurate, current, or suitable for a particular purpose, or that an outside portal will work or return a correct result.

6. Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages that arise from use of the reference or a linked resource, including a decision made from a record reached through it.

7. Indemnification

You agree to protect and hold the operators harmless from a claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, that results from your misuse of the reference or breach of these terms.

8. Copyright and Layout

The original writing, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Brief attributed quotations and ordinary links are welcome. Reproducing full pages or systematically copying the content is not permitted.

9. Changes

New versions may be posted here. Continued use after a change means that the revised terms are accepted.

10. Access Restrictions

Access may be blocked or limited for a user who violates these terms, abuses the reference, or threatens its operation. This may occur without advance notice.

11. Connecticut Law

Connecticut law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Public-record references are subject to the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act, C.G.S. chapter 14, along with the exemptions and access rules that apply to the particular custodian. The Connecticut Data Privacy Act, C.G.S. chapter 743jj, may also govern covered personal-data processing, subject to its public-record exception.

12. Severability

If a court finds one provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
